I’ve seen Forge configs break for the dumbest reasons, but this one handles complex stuff like Minecraft classes without a hitch. It’s a backend workhorse for versions like 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. If a mod you're using requires it, just toss it in your folder and forget it’s there.

FastFurnace by Shadows_Of_Fire is a mod which will increase the speed of your furnaces. This applies to vanilla and blast furnaces, and also smoker. Like FastWorkbench, that mod cashes the last recipe that you used. That way the work of your furnaces became much faster and don’t slow down your computer.
